Down Under

In a busy few weeks of sneak peeks, The Last Realm – Dragonscarpe was showcased in Australia at the SWANCON Sci-Fi Convention in Perth, and the SUPANOVA Pop Culture Expo in Brisbane. Author, Pat McNamara flew the flag at Swancon, where the book was met with many a, “WOW! It’s Stunning!” The Swancon launch was ably supported by New York Times Best Selling Author, Sean Williams, who gave the book and author a rousing introduction, before stepping in to play page turner as Pat gave a presentation to the gathered crowd.

Both, Artist, Michal Dutkiewicz and Pat McNamara attended Supanova, thanks to the great support of Ian Gould of Ace Comics and Games, who was gracious enough to host the traveling duo on his stand. It’s safe to say that the book was a huge success with the near 10,000 people in attendance. Sales of advance copies flew out of the boxes at a breakneck pace, keeping the signing pens of Pat and Michal scorchingly busy. With Superstar Artist and all-round terrific fellow, Arthur Suydam, of Marvel's ‘Zombies’ and Dynamite's ‘Red Sonja’ seated beside them, the Ace Comics and Games stand was a beacon for all lovers of fantastic art, with attendees lining up to meet two of the industry’s best artists and see their displayed works.
